We were formed in 1971 as a wine and beer making club but since then we have considerably extended our range of activities.

Our monthly meetings are held at K College, Brook street, Tonbridge, Kent, UK, TN9 2PW, on the first Thursday of each month at 20.00. the first part of the evening is a talk, demonstration, quiz or other activity, often, but not always, on a topic relating to wine or beer. Whilst this is going on, members’ wines are judged in a wine of the evening competition. We round off the evening with an informal sociable gathering over snacks and wine.

For those who would like to know more about wine or beer making, help is always available from our experienced members.

Our annual “Open Wine and Beer Show” competition is held in Tonbridge and is supported by other clubs and winemakers.

Other activities include group visits, an annual trip to Calais for lunch and shopping, an annual dinner and other social evenings. In the past we have arranged party visits to wine areas of France and Germany.

Our annual membership fee is at present £8 single and £15 double. The monthly meeting fee is £3.
